Arsenal are tasked with repairing a row of seats at Ashburton Grove after Borussia hoodlums struck…
Borussia Dortmund's 2-1 victory over Arsenal in North London on Tuesday evening has been soured after a photograph has been circulated this morning that implicate the visiting fans in a stadium-vandalising frenzy.
It has been reported that the BvB supporters, often heralded as amongst the most well-behaved in Europe, ripped up the seats at the Emirates leaving Gunners staff with nine days to repair the damage until a top-of-the-table clash with Liverpool.
The latest blow punctuates a Champions League campaign that has seen some good football from Arsene Wenger's side but has left the image of their opponents tarnished as, prior to Dortmund's disobedience, was Napoli hooliganism which left one man hospitalised after an attack at Piebury Corner.
One eye-witness claimed the 100-thug onslaught was reminiscent of the 1980s violence that plagued the British isles.
