What do you need to know about Chelsea, that you may not already?

1) Shots

Chelsea have taken more shots on goal, 145 in total and 18.1 per game on average, than any other team in the Premier League and come very close to being top in terms of shots on target (6 per game on average, 48 in total), behind only Arsenal (53) and City (52).

2) Interceptions

The Blues have made the least amount of interceptions, however, across the league (59 in total and 7.4 per game), which is way lower than the next team up, Sunderland who have made second fewest interceptions (83 overall and 10.4 per game).

4) Goals scored when?

The Blues have scored more goals in the last 10 minutes of games than at any other point across the 90 minutes – 31 per cent of their goals scored have been netted in the period between 80 and 90 minutes.

5) Goals Conceded

However, they’ve conceded more goals at that exact same point than in any other period across 90 minutes – 31 per cent of their goals against have been conceded in the last 10 minutes, suggesting perhaps their attacking ambition has caused lapses in concentration at the back resulting in goals conceded as often as it has goals scored.
