AC Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has moved to reassure fans that striking star Mario Balotelli won't be leaving the club, in spite of comments by the player's agent Mino Raiola.
Raiola told Sky Sport Italia yesterday that 'only Balotelli could put up with the constant press bombardment' and admitted that Italy 'wasn't going to be the end point of his career', strengthening rumours that Balotelli may be looking for a new club in the near future.
The fact that Balotelli spent 15 minutes in the Barcelona dressing room chatting to Neymar and Lionel Messi after last night's Champions League clash, which ended in a 1-1 draw, also didn't go unnoticed by the Italian media.
However, Galliani has poured cold water on suggestions that the fiery Italian international is looking for a move.
"Raiola is sneaky," he claimed before kick-off at San Siro. "He likes to shake things up - he's a great agent, so you have to be careful with him."
Later in the evening Galliani reiterated his faith in Super Mario's loyalties and made a joke about the visit to the visiting dressing room.
"I can set the fans' minds at rest that Balotelli is going nowhere," he said. "The visit to the Barcelona dressing room? If they'd give us one of Messi or Neymar on the pitch, now that'd be good!"
Balotelli joined AC Milan in January and has rarely been out of the media spotlight since. He has three Serie A goals to his name this season.
