Predicted Manchester City XI v CSKA Moscow - Dzeko in for Negredo and Lescott gets the nod

As City prepare for their Champions League group match against CSKA, we predict the Blues' starting line-up.

Manchester City go into their Champions League match against CSKA Moscow knowing victory will go a long way to securing a place in the knockout stages.

With Bayern Munich a shoo-in for top spot (unless something goes drastically wrong for the reigning European champions) City and CSKA are competing for the second qualifying spot, and whoever wins on Wednesday will hold a big advantage going into the return fixture at the Etihad.

With Vincent Kompany and Martin Demichelis both out, Manuel Pellegrini has a choice to make as to who partners Matija Nastasic in defence. While Javi Garcia got the nod in the weekend win over West Ham United, I expect Joleon Lescott to return for the Blues.

I am also tipping Micah Richards to make way for Pablo Zabaleta and James Milner to come in for Samir Nasri. And although Alvaro Negredo is forming an impressive partnership with Sergio Aguero, Edin Dzeko may well return for his third consecutive start in this season’s Champions League.

Here is how I expect City to line up on Wednesday evening:

Do you agree with the line-up above?  If not, who would you play in Moscow?
