British Asian music sensation Juggy D insists Liverpool have put themselves in contention for a top four finish following their promising start to the 2013/2014 Barclays Premier League season.
Thanks largely to prolific striker Daniel Sturridge, who is the league's top goalscorer netting nine times so far this season, Liverpool currently lie in third just two points behind pacesetters Arsenal.
And the 'Punjabi Rockstar,' a self-confessed Liverpool fan, believes Champions League qualification is vital if the Merseyside giants want to retain the services of their star players.
"I'm a big Liverpool fan and I have the Shankly Gates and You'll Never Walk Alone tattooed across my back," Juggy D said. "We've had a great start. We needed that, it's been absolutely brilliant and we just need to keep it up.
"I'm a bit scepitical about saying we are going to win it because it is very early but we're near the top of the table and good luck to us.
"If we finish top four it would be great because that's what we really need this season otherwise we're going to start losing some big names.
"We could perhaps do with a few more goals but it's good at the moment and its just nice to watch Liverpool again."
Juggy D performed at the second annual Asian Football Awards at Wembley Stadium earlier this month in front of a host of recognisable football personalities including Gary Lineker, Dion Dublin and Liverpool Managing Director Ian Ayre.
He hailed the event, which this year formed part of the FA's 150th anniversary celebrations, as a success and believes it can only help the development of Asian players going forward.
"It's great to be a part of it," he said. "It's great awareness for Asians who are involved in the football scene so hopefully it will be even bigger and better next time."
