Not always the biggest fan of the Arsenal manager, but even Piers Morgan can't argue against him right now.
Leader of the #WengerOut calls over the past two seasons, Arsenal fan Piers Morgan has seemingly ceded defeat in his desire.
With Arsenal topping tables in the Premier League and their Champions League group, who can really complain?
Morgan even said earlier this month he was suspending his criticism of the Gunners boss until the end of the season. We have our reservations over whether he can keep that up.
But the cordial mood was extended for the television personality to wish Arsene Wenger a happy birthday on Twitter (even though the Frenchman is not on the social networking site.
Here's his message:
Happy birthday, Arsene. It's been a rocky few years, but we're still together. Let's celebrate by stuffing Dortmund tonight. Love Piers #Afc— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) October 22, 2013
We are sure given the positive mood Wenger will be in, he would gladly accept the wishes.
After all, there can be fewer biggest satisfactions than ramming the words of his biggest critic back down his throat, and a win over Borussia Dortmund tonight would do just that.
