Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has suffered another ankle injury.
Wilshere was in action for Arsenal against Borussia Dortmund but was substituted off in the 58th minute with the score at 1-1.
He had picked up a knock on his ankle and required lengthy treatment on the pitch before limping off, with physios placing an ice pack on it on the sidelines to ease the obvious pain.
He was replaced by Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla who himself if playing himself back to match sharpness after injury.
Wilshere has a long history of ankle injuries, missing 14 months of action previously, including the entire 2011/12 season, and the last 10 games of 2012/13.
There is presently no update as to his condition and any possible lay-off this latest blow could mean for him.
