Goals from man-of-the-moment Andros Townsend and Roberto Soldado gave Tottenham a 2-0 win away to Aston Villa earlier today.
England's new wunderkind opened the scoring in the 31st minute when his cross was missed by both Soldado and Lewis Holtby and beat Villa 'keeper Brad Guzan.
Spurs doubled their lead when Spanish striker Soldado fired home, after the hosts had threatened to equalise following Christian Benteke's 61st-minute introduction.
The two sides had 28 shots between them, with the home side narrowly having the majority. But the fact that only two of their 15 efforts tested Hugo Lloris suggests they will be working on shooting prior to their next match.
The result means Tottenham climb to fifth in the table, while Villa are 13th.
