Jurgen Klopp has been discussing his summer acquisition of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabon international striker will feature for Borussia Dortmund at the Emirates in the Champions League this week, as they do battle with Arsenal.
Aubameyang's Ligue 1 form for St Etienne last season had clubs across Europe scrambling for his signature, with the Gunners one of the sides linked.
Klopp believes the striker would have been perfect for Arsenal, who are still considered to need another forward.
He said: "I followed Aubameyang for two years. He's absolutely and Arsene Wenger player.
"Luck was on our side. He wanted to come to us. If you could cut his hair he'd be a little bit like Thierry Henry. He is va-va-voom."
Aubameyang certainly would have been a great addition for Arsenal. The striker is capable of scoring some spectacular goals, is very fast, and is different in style to Olivier Giroud.
The 24-year-old has five goals in seven Bundesliga starts so far this season.
The way he is working in tandem and in rotation with Robert Lewandowski at Dortmund shows he would have had so problems working alongside Arsenal's star striker; and a bargain at £12 million.
He has a perfect chance in midweek to show exactly what a missed opportunity he was.
Was this the one extra deal Arsenal should have pulled off this summer?
