Arsenal 4-1 Norwich City: Ozil at the double as Ramsey proves he doesn't need a rest

Arsenal won 4-1 at home to Norwich City earlier today.

Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League in emphatic style with a 4-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium against Norwich City.

Arsene Wenger sprang something of a surprise by naming Aaron Ramsey on the bench.  But Jack Wilshere took on the goal-scoring duties from midfield when he opened the scoring with a superb volley after just 18 minutes.

Mesut Ozil doubled the Gunners' lead with a 58th-minute header.  But a low finish from the Canaries' Jonny Howson could have made it a tough final 20 minutes were it not for some fine finishing by two of Arsenal's brightest lights of the campaign.

First Aaron Ramsey proved he did not need a rest by scoring after replacing Mathieu Flamini, and with just two minutes of normal time remaining, Ozil doubled his day's tally.

The result means Arsenal are now two points clear at the top of the league, while Norwich slip back into the relegation zone.
