Dutch superstar told to join Chelsea, De Bruyne vows to prove Mourinho wrong

Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder is being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

The 29-year-old has been told by Dutch boss Louis van Gaal to join the Blues if he wants to be certain of a place in the Netherlands’ World Cup squad next summer.

Jose Mourinho is widely accepted to be a big admirer of Sneijder, attempting to sign him several times throughout his managerial career.

Chelsea midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has vowed to prove boss Jose Mourinho wrong.

The young Belgian has been left out of the Chelsea first team in recent weeks, which has led to wild speculation over his future.

“I will work hard and hope that I get my chance. I have to show the coach my level - He knows what I can do. I played a good 90 minutes and showed everyone that I am fit. I can only do my best,” said the youngster.

Italian giants AC Milan are tracking the brother of Romelu Lukaku, Jordan.

The 19-year-old is currently on loan away from parent club Anderlecht and can cover two positions; defence and holding midfield.

However, Jordan Lukaku said in 2012 that he wasn’t bothered about scouts watching him, with his only focusing making the grade at Anderlecht and being successful for their first team.
