Five facts about Manchester United target Tendayi Darikwa

David Moyes was busy at the weekend despite the international break. He was spotted at Fleetwood Town's Highbury Stadium to see them take on Chesterfield.

It has been reported the reason the Manchester United manager was at the League Two encounter was to see Chesterfield's Tendayi Darikwa in action.

Everton sents scouts to watch the winger five times last season, likely leading to Moyes, former boss of the Toffees, taking an opportunity to check him out personally at the weekend.

The player has also been linked with West Ham and Tottenham, and the Chesterfield's chief executive Paul Cook said: "Certainly as a young player there will not be many better around the country."

Here are five facts about Darikwa...

1) Darikwa is a 21-year-old right winger who has a contract at Chesterfield until 2015.

2) He has played 12 matches this season, scoring twice and providing one assist.

3) He was handed his full debut by John Sheridan, a former Republic of Ireland teammate of ex-Manchester United heroes Roy Keane and Denis Irwin.

4) Darikwa joined Chesterfield at 16, originally as a right-back, and now wears the club's number seven shirt.

5) He has not been capped at any youth international level, and remains eligible to play for either England, where he was born, or Zimbabwe.
