All the news and gossip from The Emirates this weekend.
Arsenal and Liverpool are set to go face-to-face for the signature of Greek starlet Konstantinos Mitroglou. The Olympiakos player has already scored four hat-tricks for the Piraeus side this season - with an overall tally of 12 goals in nine games.
Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Inter Milan are all also said to be keen - with a valuation of £7 million being quoted for his services.
Arsenal legend Robert Pires has urged the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger to carry on spending big at The Emirates.
Pires himself is such a fan, and is hoping that this is not the end of their big-spending tactics:
''If you look at all the successful clubs who won titles and trophies, they always buy after they have been successful…I believe he should add to the squad when he can."
But he has signed for Stoke City.
The deal actually went through two weeks ago, and is a real coup for The Potters, considering Manchester City and Real Madrid were also keen.
Arsenal are being linked with a move for Sime Vrsaljko. The Croatian international is currently with Genoa, and was linked with a move to London last summer.
Now, with Bacary Sagna still out of contract at the end of the season, he could arrive as the new right-back.
Yesterday it was reported by Goal.com that Arsenal were being encouraged by Manchester United to sign Wayne Rooney in January. It is believed that Rooney will not discuss a new contract at Old Trafford, a deal which expires in just 18 months.
Santi Cazorla is desperate to return to action for Arsenal. The Spanish international midfielder has been out of action since picking up an ankle injury in September - and is now seemingly desperate to get back to playing for the Premier League table toppers.
Cazorla is hoping to return to action for the October 19th tie against Norwich City.
Finally, and Arsenal and Liverpool are both being linked with the signature of Paris Saint-Germain’s Argentine outcast Javier Pastore. The former Palermo playmaker is desperate for first-team football in order to secure a place at the World Cup this summer.
Fenerbahce are also said to be keen on a move for the player - although a Premier League switch is rumoured to be his preference.
