A round up of key news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham youngster Harry Kane bagged a hat-trick as England’s Under-21 side strolled to a 4-0 win against San Marino.
San Marino were also reduced to ten men during the game as England completed a comfortable victory to secure three points in the European championship qualification match.
Manchester United defender Michael Keane scored the only other goal in the game.
Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote says it won’t be easy for any side to move for striker Loic Remy.
Spurs have been tipped as one of the sides ready to try and sign the player from parent club Queens Park Rangers, but Tiote has suggested Newcastle won’t make it easy.
“I hope the chairman will buy him. You never know, but he's already shown how important he is for us and it would be a big loss if he didn’t sign at the end of the season,” said the midfielder.
Spurs defender Kyle Walker is being tipped to take the England right-back role on a permanent basis.
Walker will start against Montenegro this evening, as he continues to perform well in the absence of Liverpool’s Glen Johnson.
Sources are suggesting that Walker stands a great chance of retaining his position with the national side, even when Johnson is fully git again.
