Birmingham City fans will remember Christoph Dugarry fondly, the French international striker whose loan spell secured their Premier League status back in 2002/03.
The former Bordeaux, AC Milan and Barcelona striker then penned a permanent deal, which did not pan out so well, but his impact and cult hero status was already established.
Dugarry has been talking to the French press this Friday, ahead of Les Bleus' friendly match against Australia.
He has mixed memories of facing the Socceroos, they were the team he made his debut against back in 1994, but 12 years ago in 2001 he was badly injured in a friendly in Melbourne.
The culprit? Former Wolves, Crystal Palace and Millwall badboy Kevin Muscat. The Australian lunged towards Dugarry, trapping his leg underneath him as he made the 'tackle' - resulting in a sprained knee.
Dugarry told L'Equipe: "He comes at me tries to break my leg. This guy, I do not know who he is, I had never seen him before. He will never win anything playing like that."
Watching the tackle, Dugarry, now 41, is lucky to have escaped with just an eight week injury.
