A round up of the key news stories about Tottenham Hotspur this morning.
Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon is back in full first team training.
The England star has been out of action with a foot problem, which has kept him out of the first team as Spurs have made a decent start to the season.
After missing the club’s last 11 games, Lennon is expected to make his return to action after the international break.
Andre Villas-Boas is thought to be keen on signing FC Basel winger Mohamed Salah.
The 21-year-old bagged a goal in Basel’s win at Chelsea in the Champions League and is rated at around the £15 million mark.
However, it won’t be easy for Spurs to do a deal as the Daily Mail reports other Premier League and European clubs are interested in him.
Spanish centre forward Roberto Soldado has vowed to help Tottenham finish in the top four.
The striker hasn’t been at his best since he joined from Valencia over the summer but he appears keen to improve his recent form.
“I have come here as a striker to score goals. I always try to achieve more goals each season, so that will be my aim – to score as many goals as I can for Spurs and try to get us into the Champions League where we deserve to be,” he said.
