Manchester City striker certain Montenegro will beat England

England's World Cup ambitions are at odds with the dreams of Manchester City's summer signing.

Accomplished international Stevan Jovetic, 23, is taking great confidence from Montenegro's track record against England as, after three official matches, the Brave Falcons have managed to obtain a result from the Three Lions on every single occasion.

While all three games have ended in stalemates, Jovetic is banking on leading his side to victory when they face Roy Hodgson's England at Wembley Stadium on Friday evening, October 11 as the three points will see them leapfrog England and claim first place in Group H for themselves should Ukraine fail to beat Poland at home.

'I am very excited by the game,' said Jovetic, as quoted by the Independent. 'It is always a very big occasion when you play England but for us it is even more important this time because we have two games left in the group and if we get good results we can qualify for the World Cup finals for the first time.

'I have two dreams - to win the Champions League with City and go to the World Cup in Brazil with Montenegro.'

He continued: 'We have played England three times, once at Wembley and twice in Montenegro, and they have all ended in draws. I expect a very difficult game again but I believe in the Montenegro squad and we will give everything to win the game.'
