Liverpool won 3-1 against Crystal Palace this afternoon.
Liverpool returned to the top of the Premier League table following their 3-1 home win over Crystal Palace. The Reds went ahead in the 13th minute courtesy of a Luis Suarez strike, made even more impressive by the fact he was laying down when he scored!
Daniel Sturridge guided the ball into the corner of the goal just four minutes later, and when Steven Gerrard converted a penalty shortly before half-time, it appeared to be game over. The spot-kick was awarded for a foul on Raheem Sterling by Dean Moxey.
A late fight-back from Palace saw them score through Dwight Gayle - adding another chapter in his fairy-tale following his summer move from Peterborough.
But that was to be the end of the scoring, leaving the Reds with all three points and a place at the head of the pack, at least until tomorrow.
