Fulham striker Tweets that a January move home is an option after Jol snub

Hugo Rodallega appears ready to turn his back on the Premier League for his Colombian homeland.

Fulham won today against Stoke City, although the performance was certainly nothing to be proud of.

In all honesty, the game was drab and spoiled by some rather ordinary officiating by the referee. In reality it all changed when Darren Bent entered the fray for the out-of-sorts Dimitar Berbatov.

But one player who looked thoroughly perturbed by the decision was Hugo Rodallega - his disappointment so obvious it was picked up by Twitter.

Rodallega was once a target for the Premier League’s biggest of big boys after impressing for Wigan Athletic, but he eventually tailed off toward the end of his stay at the DW Stadium and ended up joining Fulham.

But Jol is not a huge fan of the player, with the Colombian only playing 19 minutes in the Premier League for The Cottagers this season.

He was rumoured to be close to a move to join up with former boss Steve Bruce this summer, but no move ever materialised. This January however it appears he is off - at least according to his Twitter account.

Now a word of warning, this account is not verified by Twitter themselves - but pictures on the page seem to show Rodallega in private functions with other Fulham players - so we feel it is legitimate (sometimes these things slip through the net).

And according to a Tweet he sent out at about half past eight in the evening this Saturday he appears to have had enough at Fulham, and England for that matter.

Here is his Tweet…

And here is the rough translation …

The possibility of returning to Colombia is among the many that exist.

Rodallega than could be heading home as soon as possible.

What do you think? Is Hugo on his way?
