Criticism is everywhere for Joe Hart this morning as the Manchester City goalkeeper couldn’t produce his very best form, preventing two of the goals Bayern Munich scored in a 3-1 win at the Etihad Stadium.
For a rare match, Hart looked unsure of his positioning and movement which prevented him from getting enough strength through his arms and hands to keep out efforts from Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.
However, he certainly didn’t produce a howler anything close to Viktoria Plzen’s Matus Kozacik.
The 29-year-old Slovakian produced the howler that all goalkeepers dread as Plzen were battling away against CSKA Moscow in the other game in City’s group, with the score at 2-1.
Kozacik was presented with a simple little back pass from one of his central defenders and rather than just control the ball with the side of his foot, he tried to be a bit different with the ball rolling under his foot and the rest is history.
Take a look.
Is that the worst goalkeeping error you’ve ever seen?
