Also Lucas on his Brazil chance and the transfer rumour that won't go away.
New signing Victor Moses has said he is relishing his season-long loan spell from Chelsea. Moses has made four starts for Liverpool since joining the club and managed to score on his debut against Swansea City.
Moses said: ‘The more games you play the more experience you get and I just want to carry on playing, help the team out and score some more goals.’
Midfielder Lucas Leiva says that Luis Suarez’s return to the Liverpool side has given their hopes of qualifying for next season’s Champions League a massive shot in the arm, according to the Liverpool Post.
‘Luis was the best player in the Premier League last year, so having him in our side again this season is just a real boost for all the team and squad.
‘He’s just given us more confidence. The squad that we had without him was a good one, but with him back in it, we’ll be even better. He’s one of the best in the world. He’s really happy to be back. He’s always been training with us, but now he’s available to help us in the official games, it will be much better.’
Lucas told the Liverpool Echo about his dream of representing his country, Brazil, at next year’s World Cup after being recalled to the squad by Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.
Lucas said: ‘It’s the chance that I’ve wanted. It’s the chance I’ve been looking for ever since I got back from my knee injury.
‘I know I will be tested over those friendly games but it’s up to me now. I have to ensure that if I play I produce good performances in those two games.’
