Given the fallout from Real Madrid's sale of Mesut Ozil to Arsenal, it's just as well they did not sell key winger Angel di Maria too as was rumoured in the lead up to the transfer deadline.
The 25-year-old Argentine has only one assist to his name in La Liga, but in the Champions League the winger has two goals and three assists in two games, with Real racking up 10 goals.
Di Maria scored twice against FC Copenhagen last night in a 4-0 thrashing, but it was his assist for Cristiano Ronaldo's headed goal which really caught the eye.
Crossing the ball with his kicking leg placed behind the standing one, known as a 'Rabona', his cross was perfect for Real's main man.
The skill and accuracy to pull off such a feat in a high pressured scenario on the run is truly astounding. While his former teammate Mesut Ozil picked up all the plaudits on Tuesday night from his sensational Arsenal display - it was Di Maria's all round show led by this piece of skill which warrants particular recognition.
Di Maria's artistry was breaktaking, and is summed up no more perfectly than this freeze-frame image just before pulling off the move.
