RIT Capital appoints to Board

Mike Wilson has been appointed to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director and member of the Remuneration Committee of RIT Capital.

Wilson is Joint Founder and Life President of St James’s Place plc, the wealth management and financial services group, where he was Chief Executive from its establishment in 1992 until 2004, and Chairman from 2004 to 2011. Prior to founding St James’s Place, Mike served on the Boards of Allied Dunbar and BAT Industries.

James Leigh-Pemberton, a Non-Executive Director since 2004, has stepped down from the Board following his appointment as Chief Executive of UK Financial Investments.
