The Gunners put another three points on the board with a solid performance against Italian side Napoli, where they threatened to run away with the match, playing some world class football in the first half.
The result has left Arsenal top of Group F with a three point cushion over the Serie A side and a goal difference of plus three from their first two games.
It all seems pretty rosy as far as everyone at the Emirates is concerned but one of Liverpool’s current Development Squad members, 17-year-old Jerome Sinclair is unconvinced.
The teenager does raise some valid points through that Tweet because Arsenal’s biggest tests in this European group will come on the road against Napoli and Borussia Dortmund in intimidating environments.
However, Arsenal are playing great football at the moment, they have several players in form and their team spirit seems to be a lot stronger than it has been for a very long time.
The manner in which they’re playing is all down to Arsene Wenger who has stuck by his style and tactics throughout his 17-year span in charge of the North London side.
Whether Sinclair is left with egg on his face remains to be seen but Arsenal certainly have as good a chance as any other team in the competition at the moment.
If Arsenal do this at Napoli and Dortmund then I'll say they're serious contenders, until then it's just a good run of form— Jerome Sinclair (@jeromeNo9) October 1, 2013
