We thought we'd show you some of the best moments from the game.
Adrian Peterson 60-yard run v Steelers
After a slow start to the season the expectant crowd were hoping to see reigning MVP Adrian Peterson put on a show in London. He did just that this 60-yard run setup his biggest day of the season so far.
He seemed to enjoy London because he ran in another touchdown later in the game. Peterson showed in this run why he is the best running back in the league, a combination of speed, power and balance got him to the endzone.
Jennings 70-yard TD catch v Steelers
The veteran wide receiver had his best day in a Viking uniform since coming over from their rivals the Green Bay Packers in the summer. A big touchdown catch to open the scoring set the Vikings on their way to victory; he has great hands and rarely drops an easy catch. He showed that in the second half with another TD catch after fighting off the defender.
Before the game the Wembley crowd were treated to a traditional Minnesota introduction. The Vikings players entered the field in the midst of smoke and fireworks before the starters were introduced individually, no prizes for guessing who got the loudest cheer. It was a great way to get the crowd motivated for the game ahead.
The moment the 7th International Series game got underway, Cordarelle Patterson was on the return but was stopped by the Steelers before he could cause too much damage. This is always one of the most exciting parts of the game but sadly there was no big touchdown return this time but it didn’t stop the game being a thriller.
