Englishman Jack Wilshere has lauded the contributions of roamer Ramsey so far this season.
The all-action displays from central midfield, courtesy of resurgent 22-year-old Aaron Ramsey, have attracted plaudits from the Welshman's team-mate at Arsenal; Jack Wilshere, who even claimed that Ramsey's best form is yet to come.
'If he carries on playing the way he is and working hard, he can improve further,' said Wilshere, as quoted by the Daily Star. 'He's got a great appetite for the game. He's fit, he's young and he's showing his best form. Hopefully he can continue and get even better.'
Already one of the stand-out performers of the current Premier League campaign, should Ramsey's form enhance over the course of the season then Arsene Wenger will no doubt revel in his game-changing midfielder who was nurtured by the Emirates staff since a £4.8m acquisition in 2008 from Cardiff City.
After 540 minutes of competitive action in the Premier League, Ramsey has attempted 456 passes (with a 87.5% accuracy rate). He has won 29 tackles (only losing four), made five clearances, three blocks, ten interceptions whilst remaining equally as productive at the other end of the pitch by scoring four goals, returning two assists and creating seven chances.
Wilshere added: 'His fitness levels are not normal. He's naturally so fit, he can score at any time. Hopefully he can keep this run going. The great thing is he's got his confidence back.'
