Bank of America CEO - I know nothing

Brian Fonzie Moynihan

Oh Brian!

The Wall Street Journal's MoneyBeat column has an interesting item on a deposition of Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan on the subject of Countrywide Financial in May 2012. The man he knew nothing.

Here's a few quotes:

'I think most of it got shut down ultimately. We already had a business engaged in that, we just shut it down, I think'.

'I don’t recall specifically. I’m not sure'.

'Somebody reported to somebody that reported to me would have been the people working on this'.

'My job is to run this company and that is not one of (my) day-to-day tasks'.
