Stats - Manchester United's record against West Brom

Old Trafford

Manchester United will be looking for three points against West Brom following the disappointment of the Manchester derby.

United were thoroughly outplayed by City last weekend but the good news is they have an instant chance to set the record straight against a struggling Baggies side.

United have taken four points from six available this season at Old Trafford, with a draw against Chelsea followed by a solid win against Crystal Palace.

They go into the game with a major injury doubt hanging over key striker Robin van Persie, who missed the League Cup tie against Liverpool in mid-week with a groin problem.

Tom Cleverley is also a doubt as he also missed the game against Liverpool with a knock he picked up last weekend.

The stats heavily favour United ahead of this match with the Reds ahead on overall victories against the Baggies, Premier League wins and they’ve also scored more goals in all meetings between the clubs.

If United can get anywhere near their biggest ever home win against West Brom of 7-0, David Moyes will be a very happy manager by 5pm on Saturday afternoon.

What’s your prediction for the game?
