Here is the side David Moyes has gone with for Manchester United’s home match against West Brom, kick-off from Old Trafford at 15:00.
Starting Team: De Gea, Jones, Ferdinand, Evans, Buttner; Nani, Carrick, Anderson, Kagawa; Rooney, Chicharito
Subs: Evra, Welbeck, van Persie, Valencia, Fellaini, Amos, Januzaj
Manchester United reacted well to defeat in the Manchester derby with a solid win against Liverpool in the League Cup during mid-week. Three points in this game against the Baggies will push United into the group of sides with ten points.
It was clear how much that win against Liverpool meant to Moyes and several of the players, which makes it important for the side to get on a roll and start accumulating victories.
United have dropped two points at home this season, the 0-0 draw against Chelsea, and one area Moyes will be looking for the side to improve is the number of goals scored with only two efforts at home so far this season.
United will be very confident of a win as they haven’t been beaten at home by West Brom since the 1978/1979 season when they were defeated 5-2 at Old Trafford.
