Suarez is back, he’s fit, he’s firing and Liverpool’s managing director Ian Ayre has suggested the club will open talks with the forward over a new contract next summer.
He’s been backed by his boss to have a great season in the red shirt of the club but one of the main concerns for some fans is what he’ll do when he sees red at some point in this season.
His goal celebrations have caused great amusement in the past but they’ve also caused embarrassment such as the time he ran half the length of the pitch to produce a mock dive in front of the opposition bench.
Suarez has been banned for a total of 18 games for offences not related to yellow and red cards or bad tackles during his time with the club, which is a long time for someone of his quality to be out.
Hopefully he won’t produce a celebration like the above as a player scores before promptly laying into a teammate with a right hook, which would surely lead to some sort of disciplinary action from the FA, regardless of its context.
