Salomon Kalou may know he is not better than Zlatan, but can't resist a cheeky insinuation that he is at least on par with him in the goalscoring department.
Salomon Kalou was almost perpetually Chelsea's supersub, until he played a key role in the club's Champions League triumph in 2012, and walked away on a free transfer weeks later.
Whether the scramble for his signature was as hotly contested as the tabloids made it out to be we'll never know, with the Ivory Coast international signing for Ligue One side Lille, replacing Eden Hazard who had moved in the opposite direction.
Kalou has netted twice this season in six Ligue 1 starts, the sort of moderate ratio which caused him to only ever really be a bit-part player at Stamford Bridge.
He is far behind Ligue 1 top goalscorer Falcao on seven, prolific since signing for Monaco in the summer - but when it comes to the calendar year as a whole, Salomon Kalou is the top scorer in the division.
A title he shares with PSG superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic, each on 14 goals.
So impressed was he on hearing the statistic that he posted a photo on his Instagram page to prove it.
Boastful? Not really, Kalou admitted his posting was a bit tongue-in-cheek, but he was certainly proud nonetheless.
"It is really fun to be in front of Ibrahimovic. This is a high class striker then to show this to people, it allows me to challenge myself, to give the best of myself."
And why not... although he should be well warned - Falcao is coming up apace, and if the former Chelsea man does not improve on his two goals from six ratio, by time the calendar year is out - he may not be sitting at the top for much longer.
