A round up of the key news stories about Tottenham Hotspur this morning.

Tottenham remain linked with Paris Saint-Germain youngster Adrien Rabiot.

The 18-year-old is reportedly firmly on the radar of the North London club but is unsettled by regular appearances on the substitutes bench at the French club.

French media source Le10 Sport has suggested he is ready to push for a move away from the club this January if he doesn’t get regular first team football.

Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has said he feels the club are starting to get the recognition they deserve.

The Belgian has suggested that clubs are starting to fear the current Tottenham side, packed with young and dynamic talent.

“We have a lot of confidence and everybody can see we don’t concede a lot of goals. I think other teams are watching,” said Vertonghen.

Spurs midfielder Lewis Holtby has suggested the club will prove they deserve to be at the top of the league with a solid win against Chelsea this weekend.

Spurs are joint top with local rivals Arsenal after a solid start to the season with a large group of new players settling into the side.

“Tottenham are going places. It's a massive game, for the fans as well. We are playing at the Lane against Chelsea and if we can win that game we can make it a special weekend,” said the German.
