It is certainly a rarity for Luis Suarez to visit Old Trafford and come away with a compliment.
And despite failing to find the scoresheet as Liverpool lost 1-0 in the Capital One Cup third round, the Uruguayan striker impressed one of his opponents.
Manchester United's Jonny Evans was voted Man of the Match for his efforts in keeping a clean sheet for the hosts, but from his reaction after the game he certainly knew he had earned it.
Jonny Evans told the BBC:
"He is the hardest centre-forward you will ever play against. He is constantly on the move and commits you. Not the type to lay it off and just run into the box.
"He'll try and run at you and dribble past you, you have got to be on your toes and constantly aware of him."
It was Evans' first start of the season, as it was notably for Suarez - who looked short of match sharpness.
The Northern Irishman may do well to reflect that when Suarez visits Old Trafford later in the season in the Premier League, he may be in for an even tougher encounter.
