All the latest from The Emirates this morning including Nicklas Bendtner, Ciprian Marica and Andrea Pirlo.
Nicklas Bendtner is all set to start for Arsenal this evening against West Bromwich Albion in the League Cup. The Dane, who spent an unhappy season on loan at Juventus last term, had numerous summer moves vetoed in the end as Arsenal could not find suitable cover in the striking department.
But now he has been back training with the club and Arsene Wenger believes he can become ‘unstoppable’.
"It's just down to attitude and fighting spirit. When he has that, Nicklas can be an unstoppable striker. He gets his chance. Our job is about that. Take your chance. Fans forgive you everything as long as you produce the performances on the football pitch. That's what people want. I think our fans have a positive attitude towards Bendtner and they will be behind him.’’
Other team news for the game now and Arsene Wenger will obviously use the game to blood youngsters and freshen up some of the teams other players. Jack Wilshere is to be rested while it seems Kieran Gibbs, Wojciech Szczesny and Olivier Giroud will also get the night off.
The likes of Gedion Zelalem, Kristoffer Olsson, Chuba Akpom and Serge Gnabry will hope to get a chance in the game while fringe players such as Nacho Monreal and new goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano will hope to make an impression.
The game also gives Wenger a chance to play those trying to rediscover their full fitness - including the team’s captain and vice-captain respectively in the form of Thomas Vermaelen and Mikel Arteta.
Theo Walcott has obviously joined the injury list after undergoing abdominal surgery.

Arsenal might have missed out on Romanian striker Ciprian Marica, but the good news is so have Tottenham, according to reports in Spain that is.
It is believed he has agreed a move to Rayo Vallecano in La Liga.
Arsenal fans reportedly want to see more investment in the club in the years to come - claiming the club should still have a sizeable transfer kitty even after signing Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid for a club record fee of £42.5 million.
Arsenal banned the BBC from using the official kit in their new detective programme ‘By Any Means’ yesterday - after being unhappy with the way in which the fans of the club were depicted. One Gooner stating:
“Right, that's 'By Any Means' boycotted.”
Finally, and a remarkable move for Andrea Pirlo could be on the cards. However Manchester United, Chelsea and Spurs are all also said to be keen.
