UEFA close to confirming Jurgen Klopp will only get a one-game suspension

Borussia Dortmund will face Olympique de Marseille with Klopp in the stands, meaning he is available for the bench for the clash with Arsenal.

After Jurgen Klopp’s outburst in Borussia Dortmund’s Champions League match against SSC Napoli last Wednesday the German manager will quite likely face a one-game suspension according to two German sources.

The Ruhr Nachrichten, a Dortmund-based newspaper, and Bild, the most popular tabloid in Germany, are reporting that UEFA will pronounce he will miss Dortmund’s next Champions League game against Olympique de Marseille on October 1st. In the next couple of days the club from the West of Germany receive the official verdict.

The Jurgen Klopp saga continues - Starring Napoli's caretaker

In the 29th minute of the first half of Dortmund vs. Napoli Klopp got into the fourth official’s face, because he allowed Dortmund’s Neven Subotic to return to the field after an injury a little bit too late.

The one game suspension means that Arsenal FC will face Borussia Dortmund on October 22th with Jurgen Klopp on the bench. The Gunners could be sure of getting 100% from Dortmund. Will they get 100% from Jurgen Klopp? If he is on the bench, you bet.

What do you think? Is a one-game suspension fair?
