Michu in fine form as Swansea City overcome Palace

Swansea City won 2-0 against Crystal Palace this afternoon.

A goal after just 80 seconds from Michu sent Swansea City on their way to a 2-0 victory away to Crystal Palace earlier today.

The Spaniard was outstanding throughout, as first he was on the end of Jonjo Shelvey's through-ball to score, before later playing a key role in the Swan's second - finished off by Nathan Dyer.

The home side offered little, having just one shot on target to Swansea's seven, and having almost half as many shots in total as their visitors.

While Palace remain firmly ensconced in the bottom three, Michael Laudrup's side now sit ninth in the table and will go into their next league game against Arsenal with renewed confidence after this result and their impressive performance against Valencia last week.
