Loaned out Liverpool starlet scores third goal in three games with delightful run and finish

Suso might be getting plaudits for a goal he scored on loan at Almeria, but Krisztian Adorjan made it three goals in as many games against RKC Waalwijk yesterday.

Liverpool have plenty of talented young starlets among their ranks, with several of them catching my eye in last year’s NextGen Campaign.

One such player, who really impressed me and many a pundit, was Hungarian playmaker Krisztian Adorjan.

The 20-year-old obviously caught the eye of many admirers as well it seems, as at the beginning of July he was out on trial with Dutch outfit FC Groningen.

A solid side, with a reputation for playing smooth and silky football, they seemed the perfect location for a classy player like Adorjan.

Groningen wanted him permanently, but Liverpool instead made it clear he could be available on loan, but that he was far to promising to leave the club permanently.

In the end Groningen were happy to oblige and brought him in on loan for the season.

He had an eventful full debut for the club at the end of last month … scoring and getting sent off within 15 minutes of each event.

Is this the perfect move for Liverpool’s Hungarian starlet?

That being said, overall his performances for the club have been very impressive.

Yesterday he continued to impress, playing a vital role in FC Groningen’s 4-1 demolishing of RKC Waalwijk in the Dutch Eredivisie.

He was on target for the club in his first game since that sending off against Go Ahead Eagles - making it three goals in three after scoring for Hungary’s under-21 outfit in the international break.

Adorjan, wearing number seven, picked up the ball some 30 yards out from goal, ran at his defender before selling him the dummy, and tucking away a delightfully composed finish with the outside of his right boot.

You can see his goal in the video below, but if all you want to see is Adorjan’s goal, than skip to 7.20 on the highlight reel...

Does Adorjan have a future at Liverpool?
