Mesut Ozil is loving life as a Gunner, with the German international seeming to revel in the spotlight.
He is admired at Arsenal, revered as the main main - a far cry from when he trudged off the pitch at Real Madrid early in the season after being shoved out on the wing.
The playmaker is having an instant impact on matches, providing assists in each of his opening Premier League games.
Already he is looking like £42.4 million well spent, as much as possible after two league games at least.
Ozil has brought the feelgood factor back to Arsenal, just ask any fan for the difference in atmosphere between the home loss to Aston Villa on the first day of the season and the 3-1 win over Stoke on Sunday.
And it is the impact off the pitch which has caught Ozil's attention himself.
Scores of Arsenal fans gathered outside the stadium ahead of kick-off to pose for a group photo almost all of them wearing 'Ozil 11' Arsenal shirts to celebrate the German's debut.
The gathering was reported in Ozil's homeland in Germany. 'Arsenal fans celebrate Ozil with flash mob at the stadium'
It also caught the player's attention himself, describing the atmosphere at the Emirates as 'incredible' after the match.
3:1 - this atmosphere is incredible. I love it. http://t.co/MeAupeosdh— Mesut Özil (@MesutOzil1088) September 22, 2013
With Arsenal moving to the top of the Premier League table and Ozil here to stay, we suspect the atmosphere won't be returning to how it was a few weeks ago any time soon.
