CONFIRMED: Tottenham line-up for Europa League tie against Tromso

Erik Lamela

Who will face off against the Norwegian outfit this evening?

Tottenham Hotspur get their UEFA Europa League campaign under way this evening, with the visit of Norwegian outfit Tromso to White Hart Lane.

This season Andre Villas-Boas will be hoping to go all the way in the continents secondary competition, after being dumped out of the competition in the quarter finals last season - after being beaten on penalties by Swiss outfit, and Chelsea conquerors last night, FC Basel.

As usual in the Europa League AVB is expected to make wholesale changes to the line up - with the likes of Lewis Holtby and Jermain Defoe looking to get starts - while Erik Lamela might finally make his full debut for the club.

In terms of players who definitely are not playing we know that Etienne Capoue is out of the game with his ankle problem keeping him out until the start of next month.

Aaron Lennon and Nacer Chadli are doubts for the fixture, while Emmanuel Adebayor is out of contention, after being told to train with the development squad.

Look out for Josh Pritchard in the Tromso team - he is a 20-year-old Welshman on loan from Fulham.

But here is how they line up this evening, and indeed, Lamela does start...

Starting XI: Lloris; Naughton, Dawson, Kaboul, Rose; Dembele, Sandro; Lamela, Holtby, Sigurdsson; Defoe.

Subs: Friedel, Vertonghen, Eriksen, Paulinho, Townsend, Kane, Soldado.
