Remember when Aaron Ramsey was unpopular?!
Under a year ago, Aaron Ramsey was catching criticism from a vocal section of the Arsenal support.
The Welshman was being played on the right, far from his preferred position, and when he was moved back into the centre his form instantly improved.
Back at the end of last year, the midfielder was handed a new five-year contract by the Gunners, with Arsene Wenger tying down a group of British players to long-term deals.
Ramsey is repaying that faith, with six goals in his last seven games for the club, scoring a winner against Marseille in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
For context, Ramsey had scored five goals in his previous 91 games, an astounding transformation.
For those who believed in him, it will provide smug satisfaction and a reminder why players especially young ones should be allowed time to develop.
Others meanwhile who were vociferous in their criticism are being forced to retract their words or simply hope they are never reminded they said them.
Arsenal fan Piers Morgan found himself taken to task over his criticism of the Welshman back in January, with a fellow fan searching out and retweeting a message of his to expose his fickle nature.
Morgan typically laughed it off, but he probably wishes he could go back and delete his previous tweets now.
Just wait until Arsene Wenger wins the Champions League...
Did you make the same mistake, or were you always a Ramsey believer?
