Want a lesson in penalty taking? Look no further than Kevin Strootman, a midfielder linked with Manchester United over the summer.
The Dutch have a reputation for being penalty shoot-out shirkers almost as bad as the English, just think back to Jaap Stam's horror miss at Euro 2000.
But they now possess an international midfielder who certainly knows what he is doing from 12 yards out - step forward Kevin Strootman.
The former PSV man scored his first goal for new side Roma last night in a 3-1 win at Parma, lashing home the third from the penalty spot.
The central midfielder gave the goalkeeper no chance, by virtue of the old technique 'smash it hard down the centre and the keeper will have no chance.'
Perhaps it was what Jaap Stam was going for all those years ago...
