The Frenchman picked up a knee injury in his side’s 3-1 win against Sunderland at the weekend. If he doesn’t make it then it will leave Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger with a shortage upfront, and he may have to resort to playing Theo Walcott through the middle. Wenger is seeking some striking cover after failing to land a big name striker in the summer transfer window. The injuries that he has up front will have heightened his need.
