Each time a footballer opens themselves up to a Q & A on Twitter, they have to be prepared for a bit of stick.
Although Michael Carrick may feel he got off likely today in comparison to Stewart Downing's hecklers.
While the chat, hosted by Manchester United's official website saw Carrick discuss tactics, his range of passing, and his hopes for the campaign, the midfielder acknowledged the hecklers on his own account, writing:
"Thanks for all your questions during the Q&A with @ManUtd there was some good ones and some bad I might add."
