Weekend Betting Tips: Van Persie and Giroud can make you quids in!

Manchester United v Crystal Palace, Aston Villa v Newcastle United, Sunderland v Arsenal and Everton v Chelsea all feature.

The Premier League returns after the international break and there are some great matches for you to take advantage of.

The excitement and euphoria of transfer deadline day has left fans eagerly waiting to see how their club’s new signings get on and how each team will shape up over the first half of the season to January.

Mesut Ozil, Marouane Fellaini and several other top signings that were made before the transfer window closed are all in line for their first performances for their new clubs.

Here are five betting tips for you to consider.

Robin van Persie to score two or more goals

Manchester United have the chance to get back on track when they host Crystal Palace in Saturday’s early kick-off. United drew against Chelsea before losing against Liverpool which means three points here are a must.

Van Persie is likely to start this match and 13/5 from Sky Bet for the Dutchman to bag at least two goals looks a very decent offer considering he’ll be on the end of most chances United put together.

Aston Villa to beat Newcastle United

It’s very surprising not to see an odds on price for Aston Villa to beat Newcastle at home, with 5/4 from Coral a good offer.

Villa have a set of supporters that can intimidate even the biggest and most experienced sides and a very talented young team. Two defeats in their first three games is something that Paul Lambert will want to rectify quickly.

Olivier Giroud to score the first goal

Arsenal travel to Sunderland off the back of a couple of good results and with Mesut Ozil in their ranks.

The German has had a superb international break and he will be the creative force for Arsenal that everything flows through. He has the ability to create very simple and easy chances for Giroud and 5/1 from Bet365 on the Frenchman netting first is a must.

Tottenham Hotspur to win both halves

There isn’t too much value in backing Spurs for an outright win against Norwich City because it’s an odds on price.

An alternative is to back them to win both halves of the match at 23/20 with BetVictor. Spurs haven’t made the best start to the season but there will be plenty of determination here to secure a big win as the club prepares for big games before the end of the month.

Chelsea to beat Everton 2-1

Chelsea travel to Everton in what looks to be an extremely difficult match for Jose Mourinho’s side.

Everton always raise their game at home when they play the bigger sides and this will be no different. They will be competitive and gutsy but Chelsea should have enough to just get over the line with a narrow win. A 2-1 correct score bet is 9/1 with BetVictor or Ladbrokes.
