A round up of the latest Chelsea news stories this morning.

New signing Willian has hit out at Tottenham Hotspur, calling the Blues a better club in every aspect.

Spurs were strongly linked with the former Anzhi attacker over the summer and were reportedly trying to close out a deal for him before Chelsea came in and signed the Brazilian.

“I always wanted to go to Chelsea. Chelsea presented an offer and it was always my dream to go there. Chelsea is a better club than Tottenham in every aspect. I have spoken with my fellow Brazilians at the club, especially David Luiz. I am also happy to play for Jose Mourinho,” he said.

Roberto Carlos has warned Chelsea they have signed a control freak in Samuel Eto’o.

The former Barcelona and Inter Milan striker is under contract with the Blues until the end of the season but Carlos has suggested it may not be as good a deal as first thought.

“Samuel Eto’o did everything at Anzhi bar actually playing football. He wanted to control the club, and to take both my place and that of the coach Guus Hiddink,” said the Brazilian.

Midfielder Frank Lampard has piled the praise onto central defender Gary Cahill.

Cahill was one of the only England players to come out of the 0-0 draw against Ukraine with any positive comments attached to his performance.

Lampard says Cahill is becoming one of the best central defenders around, showing superb consistency in big games for Chelsea such as the Champions League and the Europa League finals.
