Tottenham morning news: Loan move for youngster?

A lot of the Tottenham news seems to be a continuation from yesterday, and there hasn't been much coming out of the club, but here is a small round-up. Kyle Walker has escaped any disciplinary action from the FA after being photographed taking what seemed to be laughing gas.

A statement said: "The FA and the England manager have spoken to Kyle about the matter and he has assured us it won't happen again.

"Kyle has accepted this mistake. He will not face any action under the England Player Code of Conduct."

Andros Townsend may miss out on selection for England’s crucial qualifier against Ukraine in Kiev tonight. It was said that Townsend could be in line to replace the suspended Danny Welbeck, but Manchester City’s James Milner looks the more likely candidate to fulfil that role.

Midfielder Tom Carroll played the full 90 minutes as the England Under 21 side  got a 1-1 draw in Finland last night. Harry Kane was a second half substitute. Ezekiel Fryers played no part in the game.

Brighton & Hove Albion are rumoured to be interested in taking young Spurs striker Jonathan Obika on loan. Obika has only made four first-team appearances for Tottenham, and this loan move would be the 23-year-old’s tenth temporary move.
