NFL top plays video: Adrian Peterson and Reggie Bush rush for memorable Touchdowns

Adrian Peterson

The Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions running backs both scored highlight-reel Touchdowns in a memorable contest in the NFL on Week One.

Beginning the season as he began the last, Adrian Peterson got off to a flying start in the Vikings' season opener against the Lions.

Early in the first quarter he set off on a jet propelled 78-yard touchdown run to give Minnesota an early lead.

He would rush for one more touchdown and receive another, in a predictably outstanding display of power and quick feet.

But after the game it was not just AP who was being talked about. The Lions found a way to win, and that was through off-season acquisition from the Miami Dolphins, Reggie Bush.

Bush caught a short catch before ploughing down the middle of the Minnesota defence for a 77-yard-touchdown, putting up 191 yard combined on the day.

With another standout performance from Joique Bell, the Lions got their season off to a winning start, 34-24.

Which Touchdown was better? Peterson's or Bush's?
