VIDEO: Everton's Mirallas produces a stunning finish for Belgium

Everton forward Kevin Mirallas produced a superb finish as Belgium defeated Scotland 2-0 at Hampden Park.

Kevin Mirallas showed against Scotland why he is one of the most intelligent and quick witted forward players in Belgium and at Premier League side Everton.

His performance against Scotland was outstanding and was further justification to Everton boss Roberto Martinez of why he should be an ever present for the Toffees as they seek to break into the top four by the end of the season.

Aston Villa’s Christian Benteke pinged a ball into Mirallas who was hovering close to the shoulder of the Scottish defence, a superb touch took him past the centre back who had rushed out to intercept before he coolly curled the ball into the bottom corner of the goal.

There may have been better goals in the latest round of World Cup qualifiers but few showcase such superb pieces of skill under pressure.

Romelu Lukaku’s arrival has created a buzz of excitement up at Goodison Park and the form of Mirallas is just another reason for Everton fans to stay excited.

What do you make of the goal? Should Mirallas be a dead cert in Everton’s attack?
