Manchester United have six exciting players out on loan all looking at different seasons as they look to come back to Old Trafford with a stronger chance of getting into David Moyes’ first team plans.
Here’s how they are all getting on.
Tunnicliffe is a 20-year-old midfielder on loan in the Championship with Ipswich Town until the middle of January.
He’s found chances hard to come by so far in East Anglia with three sub appearances and one start.
It seems he needs to do that little bit more to force his way back into the starting eleven at Ipswich, which will give him the chance to show Moyes he’s more than just a youngster he should be reading the occasional report about.
James is a 19-year-old left back currently on loan with League One side Carlisle United.
He’s not enjoyed a great start to his life in the football league with his debut coming in a 5-1 defeat to table toppers Leyton Orient although his second match was more positive as Carlisle knocked Blackburn Rovers out of the League Cup.
He seems a million miles off of a first team shot at United which means he just has to focus on accumulating matches for Carlisle and playing well, which should help him to secure a higher profile loan move when he returns to the club.
Centre forward Angelo Henriquez is playing his football in the Spanish second division with Real Zaragoza as they look to get back into La Liga.
He’s made just one sub appearance so far for the club and will be looking to kick on following a handful of Premier League starts, and a first goal, with Wigan Athletic last season.
He should be confident because his performances for the Chile Under-20 side at the World Cup over the summer with very good; two goals in four starts.
Nick Powell, Bebe and Davide Petrucci
Nick Powell is on loan at Championship side Wigan until the end of the season and is yet to make his debut for the club.
Winger Bebe has joined Portuguese side Pacos Ferreira for the rest of the season and also hasn’t made an appearance.
Attacking midfielder Davide Petrucci is on loan with Belgian second division side Royal Antwerp and is also waiting for his first appearance.
