Manchester United morning news: Fellaini gets his Old Trafford welcome

The fastest man in the world has urged Manchester United fans to get behind their new signing Marouane Fellaini.

This was just three days after Usain Bolt posted a video in Instagram instructing new United manager David Moyes to go out and buy a creative midfielder in the final days of the transfer window.

He seems to be prolific with his videos as he posted a short message welcoming Fellaini and wishing him good luck for his first season at Old Trafford.

Reported Manchester United target Juan Mata has made it clear that he is still committed to Chelsea despite interest for number of other Premier League including Arsenal and Tottenham.

Alexander Buttner is inching towards committing his future to Manchester United after he revealed that a talk with new manager David Moyes convinced him that Old Trafford was where he needed to be.

There were rumours that the left back would be heading for the exit door at Carrington, a loan move was the most probable move but no such deal was agreed.

Former Manchester United Youth player Robbie Savage has told them to kiss goodbye to their Premier League title after only bringing in Marouane Fellaini in the transfer window.

He said: 'I am concerned that Manchester United will live to regret their deadline-day scramble - because I think they can already kiss goodbye to being No.1 in the Premier League.'
